How do I download the desktop companion on my computer?
Didiom Desktop is available for download here.

My wife and I have Didiom Pro installed on our iPhones. Can we access our home computer’s iTunes library simultaneously?
Yes, but both of you have to sign in on your iPhones with the same Didiom ID you use on Didiom Desktop.

Can I play music from my iTunes library through my car speakers?
Yes. If you have a strong wireless signal in your car and can link your phone to your car stereo, you can listen to your computer’s audio collection through your car speakers.

How do I verify that I’m connected to a BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES)?
Click on the BlackBerry button, and then select: Settings >> Options >> Security Options >> Firewall. Inside the firewall menu, you will find a drop down menu to enable or disable the firewall. If the firewall is enabled and cannot be disabled, you may be connected to a BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES), and may not be able to use Didiom Pro. If the firewall is disabled, click on the BlackBerry button, and then select: Settings >> Options >> Security Options >> General Settings. Scroll down to see if any IT Policies are set at the bottom of the screen. If there is an IT Policy in place, you may be unable to use Didiom Pro.

The streaming quality is not as good as I'd like it to be. What can I do?
Please enable UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) on your router. UPnP is a standard technology framework to simplify the connection of network devices. If your router does not support UPnP, set up Port Forwarding on your router. For more information on UPnP and Port Forwarding, please consult your router's manual.

Can my home broadband connection affect the quality of streaming?
Yes. Normally, the higher the upload speed at your home, the better the streaming quality. To use Didiom Pro, your home broadband connection should have an upload speed of at least 256 Kbps.

I’m listening to a live stream of a radio station on my computer. Can I continue listening to this live stream via Didiom Pro when I’m away from my computer?
No. Didiom Pro does not redirect live streams from your computer to your phone. However, if the radio show you listen to is available for download, or if your software enables you to turn radio broadcasts into digital files, you can use Didiom Pro to stream those files from your computer to your phone – whenever, wherever.

Do I need a static IP address for Didiom Pro?
No.

Do I need to change the firewall settings on my computer?
Didiom Pro has been designed for simple installation. In most cases, it does not require changes to your firewall. If you use personal firewall software that controls network traffic to and from your computer, you will have to grant access permission to Didiom manually.

Can the desktop companion be installed on multiple Windows-based computers?
Yes. However, for the time being, you can only stream from one computer at any given time.

Will Didiom share my personal information?
No. We respect and protect your privacy and only use your information to service your account. Your account information is encrypted and stored on our secure servers.

Can I receive a call while I am playing music from my library?
Yes. The playback is interrupted and you will receive a prompt to either answer or ignore the call. The playback will resume once you complete or ignore the call.

Can I access other apps on my phone while streaming audio?
Yes. Didiom Pro can run in the background while you access other apps.

How do I cancel my Didiom account?
Send an email requesting cancellation to support@didiom.com. The email must be sent from the email address you registered with. Please include your Didiom ID and account type (free or premium).
